At the recent Canadian Psychological Conference I attended, June 2016 I learned about the benefits of “mindfulness mediation.” What caught my attention was that studies have shown that mindfulness-based intervention are effective in the reduction of both rumination and worry which contribute to mental illness such as depression and anxiety.
