Have you heard about “Mindfulness Meditation” for the elderly?

At the recent Canadian Psychological Conference I attended, June 2016 I learned about the benefits of “mindfulness mediation.”  What caught my attention was that studies have shown that mindfulness-based intervention are effective in the reduction of both rumination and worry which contribute to mental illness such as depression and anxiety.  Mindfulness has become popular because its meditative style has a distinctive method of handling emotions.
